If participants are funded by the NDIS for Supported Independent Living (SIL) and can’t or don’t want to share a living environment with others, then look no further. At AWS we only offer independent fully furnished disability friendly units, with tailored 24/7 onsite support services, in a community living environment. Our team is dedicated to providing NDIS participants with a safe, comfortable, and supportive living environment where individual needs are catered to with professionalism and empathy.

Whether the participant requires 1:1, 1:2, 1:3 or even 2:1 (2 workers to 1 participant), or even if they have challenging behaviours, AWS can assist each participant with all their SIL daily support requirements.

 

SIL services AWS provides include:

• Independent Accommodation options – No sharing independent units.

• SIL services in your own home

• 24-hour support, including overnight (active or inactive)

• Personal care – eg. showering, toileting, incontinence support, dressing

• Mobility support

• Medication assistance

• Hoisting

• Shopping and meal preparation

• Domestic support – eg. cleaning, clothes washing,

• Therapy support

• Behaviour support

 

Some examples of daily living expenses NOT covered with SIL funding include:

• Groceries and paid activities

• Rent

• Utilities

 

We will include all the above costs in an agreement if you choose to live in one of our SIL properties.
